An Entertainment Review by Ali Kerr

Grace Potter and The Nocturnals returned to the Gulf Coast to rock a sold out show at the Bluegill in Spanish Fort, AL. On tour to promote their new self titled album Grace Potter & The Nocturnals,Grace and the gang brought down the house. Potter's soulful voice has been compared to the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Joan Osborne and Ricki Lee Jones but she has a definite style all her own. Her sexy swagger and gritty sound are complimented by the classic rock/bluesy vibe of The Nocturnals which include lead guitarist Scott Tournet and drummer Matt Burr joined by newer members bassist Catherine Popper and rhythm guitarist Benny Yurco. The band members great chemistry made for a fun, high energy show that left the crowd wanting more. You should do yourself a favor and put this band on your "must see" list. You will not be disappointed.
